Nicaraguan Geisha (also known as Gesha coffee) is considered one of the finest coffees in the world.
This specialty coffee is grown at relatively high altitudes in the Jinotega department in north-central Nicaragua, close to the border with Honduras.
The Geisha coffee variety was first discovered in Ethiopia in the 1930s and became a specialty in 2004 after winning a major competition in nearby Panama and attracting the attention of international experts.
It gained fame as a coffee.
Since then, Geisha coffee has continued to break records due to its unique taste and rarity.
